Firstly, log-in to your My BMW Account using the icon in the site header.To do this, you will need to use the following steps and will require a 64GB FAT-32 formatted USB drive. If you have an active subcription, to update your map data, you can download the latest update from the BMW Connected Drive portal, using the BMW Update Manager. They are available as a one- or two-year subscription in the BMW Shop. Map updates are published multiple times per year.
